an Active School Travel program, that we call 'Foot It Friday'. The aim of the program is to improve our

The concept of
'Foot It Friday" highlights the fact that over 65% of our school students
arrive by car each day. We are hoping parents who travel by car to school
might consider parking at alternate locations, such as Salk Oval, RSL
tennis courts and Duringan St Picnic Area and walking the last 200-300m to
school. This gives the family 5-10 minutes extra exercise each day and reduces
congestion around school.
now have Active School Travel passports in their class. They will
achieve a stamp each Friday if they walk, ride, scoot, skate, carpool or bus to
school. When they collect 5 stamps a great incentive prize will be given
